The symphony of Brooklyn's Yeasayer is every one eclectic, genre-bending journey into venereal disease, rock, Middle Eastern and African musics, folk, and confine. Vocalist/keyboardist Chris Keating and cantatrice/guitarist Anand Wilder were one as well as the other raised in Baltimore, to what they honed their vocal skills in a barbershop quartet and played in a sublime-school band, Sic Transit, before leaving small village to attend different colleges.
